Earth Hour

We have been talking about Earth Hour. The children did some print making and painted on tin foil. They transferred their image onto a circle to create their Earth. We hope all families can join in and celebrate Earth Hour this Saturday March 30th. Find a way your child can make a difference. You may wish to talk about the electricity use in your home and what your child can do to help save energy.

LEGO People Creations

Today we read a fun LEGO story. The children discussed facial expressions and feelings of different characters. They had the opportunity to create their own LEGO person. Some students made puppets. Some children took the challenge of creating a three dimensional LEGO person. Other students coloured and cut out a LEGO person from a template. All of the children were pleased with their final results. Here is a peek at a few of the different creations.
